Cindi Gortner & Suzi Liu

A native of Pasadena, Cindi grew up with a father who was the Assistant Director of NASA’s Jet Propulsion Lab during the fascinating early days of space exploration. After completing her undergraduate degree in Economics from UC Berkeley and an MBA from UCLA, Cindi started her career as a Director of Marketing at Nestle USA. She was responsible for creating and launching Nestle Pretzel Flipz, a brand with annual sales of over $50MM.

Suzi Liu hails from a small town called Crystal Lake near Chicago, IL where she grew up water-skiing and snow-skiing. This Midwesterner heard the waves of Santa Barbara calling, and chose UCSB for her undergraduate degree where she studied engineering and design and developed long term connections through her Pi Beta Phi sorority.

Suzi started her career in Marketing and Sales at a variety of tech firms CeCorp, Infocus, Phillips, and Prolux eventually becoming the Director of Marketing in sales at two of those companies.Suzi also manages a portfolio of investment properties both vacation rentals and long-term rentals in state and out of state. She is fortunate to have her oldest daughter interested in the family business as both property manager and stager. Her youngest is studying landscape architecture in Santa Barbara.Her UCSB college crush & husband, Paul Liu is a local attorney.

Both Cindi and Suzi have lived and sold real estate in the Conejo Valley for many years, and they know how ideal the area is for raising a family or enjoying retirement. Cindi and Suzi collectively serve on four non-profit boards and are members of the Founders Circle of Many Mansions, the Conejo Valley chapter of 100 Women Who Care, and National Charity League.
